On Stage at the Sun City Follies
Sponsored by the Sun City Actors and Theater Arts Guild, the annual Follies Show showcases the creative performing talents of Sun City residents. Dozens of groups, clubs and individuals get together each fall to create, rehearse and audition their acts. The show runs six nights and delivers an entertaining mixture of singing, dancing, skits, comedy routines, impersonations and perhaps a special guest appearance.

on stage - the Nifty Fifties Show
|
The Georgettes wrote, choreographed, produced and directed their own dance show called 'Nifty Fifties" that featured favorite tunes from the 50s decade. Here they perform a number called 'Hearts of Stone'. Performing 'Great Balls of Fire' against a backdrop of Mel's Bowling Alley. A volunteer group of men dance their rendition of 'Great Balls of Fire' in this spoof on the Georgettes. Their attire even included red felt cowboy hats, red beaded bandana scarves and glossy red poms. Rumor has it their number was more popular than ours. |
